Experience

Mark qualified with distinction from Guy's Hospital in London in 1998.

After working in hospital oral surgery departments and NHS general practice, Mark chose to concentrate on restorative dentistry and undertook a four year masters degree in prosthodontics. This is a course design to cover all advanced aspects of cosmetics, crowns, bridges, veneers and tooth wear.

After this he enrolled on a two year masters degree in dental implantology which covered all aspects of surgical and restorative implant treatment. Mark is an active member of the European Association of Osseointegration and the Association of Dental Implantology, as well as the Academy for Advanced Surgical Skills. He regularly attends congress meetings all over the world.

He is a clinical coach for Astra Tech implants and implant mentor for the ADI and teaches other dentists about implant and restorative dentistry. He particularly enjoys cosmetic dental work.

Mark has completed a two year course on conscious sedation in Newcastle and is fully qualified to provide intravenous sedation for nervous patients or those undergoing oral surgery.

He is passionate about upholding City Bridges' reputation as a centre for dental excellence. Mark has three young children and enjoys active sports, such as, running, sailing, windsurfing and skiing.
