My role at City Bridge Dental is clinical manager. I oversee all the clinical aspects of the business which includes the day to day running of the surgeries and ensuring we are up to date with all the current regulations within our industry.
I find my role is very varied and rewarding, from carrying out audits to making sure that we all maintain high cross infection standards to running regular training courses for the nurses. I still nurse three days a week and work with all the dentists within the practice, ensuring our patients are provided with a high standard of care in a clean and safe environment. The entire City Bridge team are very passionate about dentistry and aim to provide the highest standard of dentistry and patient care.
I joined City Bridge in 2003 as a part time dental nurse, working with Mary Gibson, working my way up to my current role.
Outside of the practice, I spend most of spare time walking or cycling around the endless tracks in the New Forest. In the summer months, I enjoy camping and running my bouncy castle company with my husband.
I have worked at City Bridge since 2004.
Over the years, I have developed an excellent rapport with many patients.
I have worked at City Bridge since 2004. Having worked closely with Nick Ross as his nurse and PA for 10 years, we have become a great double act! I love working at City Bridge as no two days are the same. I also enjoy City Bridge’s close team work and patient-centric approach to care. Over the years, I have developed an excellent rapport with many patients.
I qualified in 1988 and have had a varied career, dealing with people from all walks of life. Since joining City Bridge, I have continued my professional development, recently passing my Radiography qualification. I hope to continue to attend courses to develop my skills and further my dental knowledge.
Outside of City Bridge Dental, you’ll find me producing, choreographing, stage managing and, sometimes, acting in two Amdram productions a year. I also volunteer for The Scout Association Headquarters, running national activities and events for all age groups within the association.
I joined City Bridge Dental in 2006
I help carry out root treatments with Imram Azam and Sarjoo Mistry as an Endodontic nurse.
I joined City Bridge Dental in 2006 and I act as Endodontic nurse to Imran Azam and Sarjoo Mistry. I assist them during root canal therapy. You might also see me providing general assistance to other dentists in the practice.
I am passionate about dispelling the myths associated with root treatments and helping patients feel comfortable and confident before, during and after their treatment. I also enjoy keeping up with all the latest treatments and training and I’m always looking to further my professional development. Since joining the practice, I have achieved qualifications in dental radiography and sedation.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, sailing, exercise and travel.
I work in the Decontamination Suite and ensure that all equipment used in our surgery is safe and sterile.
My role is to ensure the efficient and safe sterilisation of all the equipment used in our surgeries. At City Bridge, the facilities for this task are superb, as we have a purpose-built ‘Decon Suite’. This allows all decontamination to take place away from the surgeries, and more importantly, to the highest standard, thanks to the excellent equipment provided.
Outside of City Bridge, I enjoy numerous hobbies, namely, football (big Yeovil Town fan), snooker, travel and genealogy. I also love taking the dog out for a good long walk!

I am passionate about practising and teaching dental nursing
I have been dental nursing since the late 1970s, moving on from nursing into practice management in 1997. Later I was registered CQC Manager.
I am also qualified to teach, assess and internally verify trainee dental nurses. Motivating and passing on my passion to trainee dental nurses is most rewarding. I am very pleased to be part of such an advanced dental practice.
