Experience

William obtained his initial degree from Dundee University in 1985. After graduating he practiced general dentistry for a number of years in the UK in both the NHS and private sector.

Following this he studied advanced restorative dentistry for two years at Glasgow University, graduating with an MSc. William then spent a further two years in postgraduate training at the Eastman Dental Institute in London where he gained a MClin Dent in Endodontics.

In his youth William was a keen footballer, rock climber and sailor, and whilst he still sails climbing has given way to the more sedate (and safe) pleasures of chocolate, theatre and jigsaws. William has also pursued his interest in languages (French and Spanish) and in history managing to obtain a BA, MA and PhD.
